How The Video Sales Work

When you see an item you want to buy, simply phone or email. Identify the item to see if it is still available and to arrange to pick it up.

A new presentation is posted each day. A presentation may be paused at any point to closely examine a still frame. It may be completely rerun. Each presentation is available for one week.

The presentation shows (unless otherwise stated) one-of-a-kind items for sale at a given price. Items are sold on a first come, first served, basis. Once the item is sold, no duplicates are available. When you see an item you want to purchase, simply phone or email me. Identify the item to see if it's still available and to arrange to pick it up. A buyer may telephone, email or call in person at an appointed time to purchase an item. Items will be held for up to 48 hours against a 10% deposit or an established account. Unsold items are offered again at another time whenever I come across them again.

All items are (unless otherwise stated) old and/or used and/or antique. Some are damaged. All items are sold "as is." I do my best to accurately describe each item and to reasonably satisfy my customers, but in each case, the customer is wholly responsible for the decision to purchase. There are no warranties, no returns, no refunds.

All sales are "cash and carry," the full price payable in cash at the time the goods are removed. Established customers may pay by check and/or credit card. The price does not include packaging, shipping or delivery. The buyer is responsible to pick up the purchase within a week of purchase or to arrange for shipping or delivery. I deliver in the Harrisburg, PA area for a modest charge based upon the size of the purchase and the distance traveled. I pack and ship for $10 plus the actual cost of materials and freight.

Prices don't include Pennsylvania state sates tax. The buyer is responsible to pay the 6% sales tax on all taxable items (which is most of the non-food items I sell) in addition to the selling price.

How The Auction Sales Work

From time to time I have lots of things for which I can't predetermine a selling price or which lend themselves to being sold by bid. In those situations, I sell them by auction. I let you bid on the items.

When you see items which interest you, you may phone or email me. You will identify yourself, give your address and phone number, identify the item and place your bid(s). Each item will be sold to the highest bidder provided the offer meets my reserve, if any. Unsold items will be offered again at another time. The bidding period will generally run for about three weeks. Successful bidders will be notified by phone and/or email. They will have 48 hours in which to pay for their purchases.

Everything I sell at auction is my own property. I'm not a licensed auctioneer and I don't auction anything for anyone except myself. Where I sell for a charitable purpose, the goods are my property and I contribute the revenue to the charitable purpose.
