  • Set of 29 Cincinatti Reds postal cards These sports collectible cards are to celebrate the 1939 Cincinatti Reds. Each card was "Courtesy of Metropolitan Clothing Company, Ludlow at Fourth, Dayton, One of America's Fine Stores for Men and Boys. This was a world series team with players inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame. A copy of each card can be sent upon request. One card is a compilation of the individual cards. The players on individual cards include: Bucky Walters, Leo Scarsella, Ernie Lombardi with the ad for the Metropolitan Clothing Company, Frank McCormick, Lee Grissom, Frank McCormick with the Clothing Company advertisement, Wally Berger, Billy Meyers, Whitey Moore, Willard Herschberger, Linus Frey, Junior Thompson, Edwin Joost, Johnny Vander Meer, Harry Craft, Bill Werber, an additional card of Junior Thompson, Lee Gamble, Bill McKecknie (Manager), Jimmie Wilson, Ray Davis, an additional card of Ray Davis, Dick West, Milburk Shoffner, Ivan Goodman, Frenchy Bordagaray, Bongiovanni, Lew Riggs, Paul Derringer, and Frank Gowdy. There is an affixed autograph to the card for Willard Herschberger. Good condition. The post cards had not been mailed and show only the wear from storage and s slight bowing.

  • 1957 World Series, Milwaukee County Stadium - Official Program This is the program for the Milqaukee Braves vs New York Yankees. Measures 8 1/2 x 11. The back cover features a Miller High Life ad and a view of the stadium. There are 40 pages plus the covers and the inside backcover features a Coca Cola ad, Baseball and Coke grew up together and has several players drawn into the ad. The inside cover features a drawing if a young boy playing baseball and is for Allis Chalmers. There is a little yellowing around the edges of the cover. No tears or writing. An excellent collectible for the baseball fan. $75.00
