And Photographic Ephemera

For decorating, collecting, history and biography, there's nothing more intimate and personal than photography. Antique photographs display what life was honestly like in past generations. Old pictures are unique. They preserve an instant in a person's life. They preserve the place, the nuance, the character of an instant in time. Vintage photos are as beautiful and engaging as any fine art. They are a collection more venerated and entertaining than stamps, coins or bric-a-brac. They are the next best thing to preserving the person her or himself.

Antique photographs are a true investment because the supply is continually dwindling as demand and interest grow.

Exciting examples from my large, diverse and everchanging inventory of pre-1950 prints, pictures, negatives, slides and films are offered for sale in 3 ways:

    • I prefer to sell by personalized offerings. Personal attention is always more satisfying to everyone. Email me describing the types of pictures which interest you and the price range you want to invest. I'll email back with photos, descriptions and prices of material in your area of interest.
    • Attention Art Editors, Advertisers, Promoters, Publishers: I offer the use of my collections of antique and vintage photographs for one-time use to illustrate advertisements, promotions and published materials such as books and pamphlets. Stock pictures for advertising use are available in several forms at very reasonable prices, $30 to $200 per single use. Email me or phone 717-236-6045 with your needs. I'll offer what is suitable.
    • I've assembled an attractive selection of "Pastpresents." These are lovely matted and framed photographic combos ideal for decorating. I combine a valuable, unique original antique picture along with a modern, computer-enhanced enlargement; a "past-and-present." My Pastpresents are available in a variety of subjects, dates and sizes, priced from about $100 to $500. If desired, the distribution frame may be upgraded to a more elegant frame of your preference.
    • I have a listing of interesting unframed photographs, slides, negatives and so forth spanning the 1850-1950 era and even a few which are more modern. These are examples from my diverse inventory. Besides prints, I try to list good slides, valuable negatives, films and stereo cards. If you don't see something of interest in my listing, just ask me. Everything is inexpensive and desirable.
    • I have limited collections of ADULT ONLY erotic material. These are mostly old photographs of nude and/or sexually explicit women and a lesser number of nude and sexually explicit males. These photographs are erotic in content. To exclude the underaged and the window shoppers, I sell ADULT ONLY material by email private sales. A menu of ADULT ONLY offerings which is now available is listed separately.

I also offer a limited selection of collectible (and often usable) photographic equipment, cameras, albums, frames and so forth. Occasionally I buy material for which I have requests including specialized areas such as halftones, micrographs, x-rays, aerial and erotic photos.
