| Bellocq, Ernst (1873-1949) was an important American photographer who chronicled New Orleans. He photographed the whores and bordellos of Storyville, made artistically posed nude studies both as art and as pornography. His pictures of prostitutes, especially child prostitutes, taken about 1912 along with his stark images of children of the streets are his best work.
